Satpur Swami Vivekananda Rural Welfare Society

We are a welfare society named as “Satpur Swami Vivekananda Rural Welfare Society”. It is registered with registration no. 5/2 L1 -59702 of 2016-2017 under West Bengal Government by Societies Registration Act.

It is a non-profit making, non-governmental, skill and culture developing, social welfare organization. The concept to form this organization (with initial name Swami Vivekananda Rural Development Society) was declared at its inaugural function on 12th January, 2012 at the premises of Kanpur Krishnabati Vivekananda Institution (KKVI), PO-Baira Kanpur, Via-Mayapur, PS-Arambag, Distt. – Hooghly, West Bengal, by some ex-students of KKVI, during the birth anniversary celebration of Swami Vivekananda.

The main Society Objectives as set towards the above said main aim/ final motto are:-

1. Development and welfare of the students
2. Development and welfare of the guardians/ parents and general people (community)
3. Protection of our environment for sustainable development

Subsequently, with the support and active participation of a group of social workers belonging to Industry, academic institutions, government departments & agriculture etc., it has been formed as a society to serve all classes of people of all age groups as per their present day need, with all out efforts within the limits and capabilities of this society. The main aim / final motto of this society is to develop GREEN citizens of India through awareness and application programmes on science, art and culture, who will work for environment-friendly sustainable development of human society. Here ‘GREEN’ means: G=Growth-oriented, R=Reservation-conscious, E=Energy-economizing, E=Efficiently-working, N=Nature-loving.
